Back Reinforcement
After meticulous cutting and stitching, our process begins with a crucial step: the back reinforcement. Through a fusion of precision and innovation, advanced machinery melts the reinforcement material into the upper, ensuring both durability and a touch of timeless artistry.
Preparation for lasting
Following reinforcement, the upper takes center stage. Meticulously placed by hand on the last, each detail aligns with precision. This step lays the foundation for flawless assembly, setting the tone for the stages ahead in creating a masterpiece of footwear.
Lasting
Moving forward, our specialized lasting machine takes the reins. With meticulous care, it secures the front part of the upper to the last. This vital stage, marked by precision and attention to detail, achieves impeccable symmetry – a cornerstone of our shoe making process.
Back closure and nailing
With the front part artfully assembled, the upper enters its final phase. An automated machine delicately applies glue along the edges, gracefully sealing the sides and heel. As a grand finale, 20 expertly synchronized nails are pressed into place, ensuring the heel's flawless fixation. This meticulous process culminates in the harmonious union of elegance and precision.
Bottom Grinding and "The Oven"
Guided by precision, the half-formed shoe enters the oven. Under carefully controlled temperature and humidity, the materials gracefully stretch and mold to perfection, embracing the intended shape. As excess material is gently removed from the bottom, a seamless surface emerges, ready for the next step. This process imbues porosity, priming the shoe to absorb the forthcoming glue, a critical element in our assembly.
Sole application and stitching
Fusion of Craftsmanship: Sole to Upper
With utmost precision, the sole is positioned onto the upper and last, creating the foundation.
Stitching for Strength: Durability Ensured
The final phase - stitching the sole to the upper - secures a shoe built to last, a testament to Italian expertise.
